Today the Blues world has not only lost one of it’s most prolific supporters, but has lost a piece of its soul in the process. A true legend in the industry, London based writer, Pete Sargeant was loved by fans, friends, and family. A household name for readers of Blues Matters, and various outlets that he contributed to over the years, Pete was always laser focused, and had a talent for spotting up-and-coming talent, while also ensuring the legacy of the Blues was upheld. All of the staff here at Blues Matters are saddened by his loss, and give our deepest and sincerest condolences to his friends, family, and everyone else who will feel it.
