The Blues-playing Sharpees meet the Blues Moose – video

UK-based ‘Maximum RnB Band’ The Sharpees, who recently released their new album Mississippi Thrill, are frequent travellers to many parts of Europe. In a recent excursion, they visited Holland’s Blues Moose Radio and were recorded on video playing some of their songs in the Bluesmoose Cafe. The radio show including the music recorded is on Podomatic here.

One of the most striking and autobiographical songs on the album is Trucking the E15, the E15 being the route The Sharpees van has clocked up many a mile on through France in particular.

Along with several other tracks, The Sharpees also took the opportunity to play the title track of the new album.

The Sharpees are now part of the Continental scene, as well as the UK. Check them out here and, of course, the Blues Moose and his radio show.
