Lead Single: “Giants Walk The Land”

The first single from the album, “Giants Walk The Land,” is a collaboration between Louw and Midnight Oil’s Jim Moginie. This track has been praised for its blend of inspiration and craft. Producer Kevin Shirley, known for his work with John Hiatt and the Black Crowes, remarked, “Two great songwriters and musicians blend inspiration and craft into something mystical.”

Released on Friday, June 7th, “Giants Walk The Land” is now available on all streaming platforms. The official music video can be watched on YouTube here.

Decades-Long Career

Between Time comes as a milestone in Louw’s extensive career, which began in the 1990s. Back then, Louw fronted Big Sky, a band that garnered significant acclaim in South Africa with the help of record producer Kevin Shirley. After a decade-long hiatus, Louw made a triumphant return in 2021 with his solo album Headlight Dreams. Shirley, instrumental in bringing Louw back into the studio, gathered a stellar band featuring keyboardist Kevin McKendree, drummer Greg Morrow, bassist Alison Prestwood, and guitarists Rob McNelley and Doug Lancio.
