Nashville-based rock trio Cinema Stereo will release their debut full-length album, 12:34, on 2 October 2026, alongside a run of European and UK tour dates later this year.
The album will be available digitally, on CD and as a limited-edition vinyl release, with new single ‘Expectations’ offering the latest preview of the record.
Produced by Paul Moak at The Smoakstack in Nashville, 12:34 brings together twelve songs shaped by several years of songwriting, touring and experimentation.
Rather than settling into a single style, the album moves through atmospheric textures, layered harmonies, shimmering guitars, synths and more direct rock arrangements. Its songs explore growing up, relationships, self-doubt, ambition and the search for some sense of clarity.
“Working with Cinema Stereo was such a fun, exciting adventure,” says Moak. “Ian’s songs are a fury of his creative energy matched with Seb’s guitars jumping out of the speakers.”
He adds that the band continually brought new ideas into the studio, helping give the record its layered and energetic character.
Finding their sound
The album opens with ‘Flood’ before moving into ‘Over the Edge’ and ‘Now We Feel Special’, while ‘A Moment of Feeling Alone’ brings a quieter tone.
The title track, ‘12:34’, sits at the centre of the record and acts as a brief reflective piece focused on timing, perspective and the moments that shape a life.
The second half features the new single ‘Expectations’, followed by ‘Ride to the Sun’, ‘Flowers’ and ‘Lean On You’, before the album closes with ‘All I Want’, ‘Tears’ and ‘Proxima’.
For vocalist, bassist, guitarist and keyboard player Ian Rayha, the sessions marked a point where the band were finally able to define what Cinema Stereo should sound like.
“We were finally able to say the things we wanted to say musically,” says Rayha.
“Paul Moak let us experiment and try any and every idea we had, most of which made it to the final mix. Because of this the band’s identity started to take shape, and I can’t wait for the world to hear 12:34.”
From Orlando to Nashville
Originally from Orlando, Florida, Cinema Stereo are now based in Nashville.
The trio consists of Ian Rayha, guitarist Sebastian Borysek and drummer Jeffrey Lageveen, drawing influence from artists including Queen, The Police, Cheap Trick, Aerosmith and The Killers alongside more contemporary alternative rock.
The album was engineered by Zack Zinck with assistant engineer Brendon Hapgood, mixed by Paul Moak and mastered by Sam Moses.
Its artwork was created by pop artist Kii Arens.
Cinema Stereo UK tour
Following the album’s release, Cinema Stereo will head out across Europe before beginning a UK run on 25 November.
The tour includes shows in Faversham, Manchester, Sheffield, Leek, Glasgow, York, Norwich, Frome and London, alongside an appearance at Planet Rockstock in Porthcawl.
