5 track EP from a cross Atlantic cooperation between Maryland and Zambia! Apparently Matthews chief collaborator (Andrew Diamond) relocated to Zambia and Matt writes the songs, and Andrew lays down the rhythms, whatever, it seems to work, and you have the results here, 4 originals and a rehash of Midnight Special. The whole thing has a Reggae meets country feel, and with each track coming in at around 3 and a bit minutes, it left me wanting to hear more. I felt that track 3 The Fool I’ve Got To Be, reminded me very much of Ringo Starr and Act Naturally I understand that there is a further EP in the pipeline, but it is hard to see where the market is for these, unless it is just a promo effort to put the word about, although I can’t see how you are going to get to a live gig?
