There will be a free mini course from each guest tutor plus the chance to buy into the main course which gives them access to the full lesson page and if they buy in time, the chance to join a live online masterclass workshop followed by a Zoom style Q&A with the guest tutors. Students will also get one month access to the full site – 100’s of videos, the members forum, the Zoom time table etc. Artists will also be doing a streamed interview with Chris Quinn as well as performing live on social media channels ahead of the launch of their course. Guest tutors for 2021 will be John Doyle, Clive Carroll, Celine Dos Santos, Paulus Schäfer and Juan Casals Mendoza.

Away from his tuition work when performing live Chris Quinn delivers a genre bending set covering everything that sits within the “roots music” category; Original songs with phenomenal guitar work and polished vocals, bluegrass flatpicking (honed from numerous USA tours), mean delta blues, beautiful and authentic Celtic ballads, intricate DADGAD workouts, hot jazz swing guitar, ragtime and much more. His shows are delivered with humour, musical explanations and uplifting stories about his time on the road.

When not playing solo Chris is often seen performing alongside many of the planet’s most revered guitarists including Robin Nolan, Clive Carroll, John Doyle and Paulus Schäfer. Not to mention during the summer of 2021, if the pandemic allows, he’s set to perform concerts with two of the world’s most celebrated gypsy jazz guitarists, Stochelo Rosenberg and his younger cousin Jimmy Rosenberg.
