Larry Miller headlining Bluesfest and Real Ale Festival in Gravesend on Saturday 24th August
The devastating live power Blues show of Larry Miller will be in Gravesend on Saturday 24th August headlining the Wrinkly Rockers Club Bluesfest and Real Ale Festival at the Red Lion. Larry’s appearance will be appropriate for a venue (The Red Lion, Gravesend DA11 9AA) that has a long history with out and out Rockers such as classic Metal band Iron Maiden.
Joining Larry on the bill will be many names familiar to Blues Matters readers, representing several different strands of the Blues – vocal legend Nicky Moore appears with Danny Kyle as Kyle & Moore, showcasing their outstanding new album The Whale And The Wa’ah. Young Blues aces The Mentulls make the journey from Yorkshire, while the exciting Absolution represent Essex. A one act we’ve tipped for the future, Andy ‘Blues Boogie Machine’ Twyman, plays, as does the Doom Blues of The Dave Jackson Band, and the roster is completed by Blues Business and The Sharpees.
