Erja Lyytinen announces November UK dates and new video for “Going To Hell”

Internationally acclaimed guitarist and singer-songwriter Erja Lyytinen has confirmed three UK concerts this November, alongside the release of a fiery new music video for Going To Hell, taken from her latest studio album Smell The Roses.

The Finnish blues-rock star will perform in Bridgewater, Bar Brunell (Nov 13), Tenby Blues Festival (Nov 14) and London, The Half Moon Putney (Nov 18). Tickets are on sale now via erjalyytinen.com/tour.

To celebrate the announcement, Lyytinen unveiled the official video for Going To Hell, a highlight from her acclaimed 2025 album Smell The Roses. The striking clip features a flame-wreathed devil and bold visuals that capture the song’s fiery energy.
Going to Hell is one of my favourite songs from Smell The Roses,” says Erja. “We decided to shoot a music video where a dashing devil amps up the passion. We had never used fire as an element before, and that made the video shoot especially thrilling!

She continues: “The core message of the song comes to life in a visual format. The blues was once thought of as the devil’s music, and that notion is contrasted with the truth that no one is superior or inferior to their fellow human beings, even if they’ve managed to convince themselves that they are. So, without further ado, let’s play our way down to Hell!

Smell The Roses follows her 2024 live release 20 Years of Blues Rock and has been praised internationally for its blend of searing guitar work, rich songwriting and unapologetic energy. Both CD and vinyl editions are available from the official Erja Lyytinen store, along with exclusive merchandise bundles.

As Fireworks Magazine put it, “Erja Lyytinen may sing the Blues, but she has a smile that could light up an entire city and is as infectious as her music.” Metal Planet Music praised her performances as “a night filled with electrifying guitar solos, infectious energy.”

With her UK shows on the horizon and a new video blazing online, Lyytinen is set to light up November with her trademark mix of passion, fire and world-class musicianship.
