THE COMMONERS release NEW SINGLE – “SEE YOU AGAIN”

Canadian roots and rock band The Commoners are set to release their latest single, “See You Again,” on Friday, April 12th. This heartfelt track is the fourth single from their upcoming album, Restless, due out on July 5th from Gypsy Soul Records (pre-orders available at www.thecommoners.ca/store).

“See You Again” is now streaming on major platforms, offering fans a poignant glimpse into The Commoners’ evolving musical journey. The song, a tribute to love, loss, and cherished memories, features a chorus that’s perfect for open-road drives with the windows down, guided by rich acoustic guitar melodies.

The single carries a deep emotional weight, dedicated to the memory of Commoners drummer Adam Cannon’s father, who passed away while the band was touring in the UK in 2023. Lead singer Chris Medhurst recalls the band’s difficult decision to continue the tour despite the loss, a decision that ultimately inspired this moving song.

The forthcoming album, Restless, follows the success of their acclaimed 2022 release, Find A Better Way. With a mix of introspective tracks and energetic anthems, Restless promises a raw and authentic portrayal of a band dedicated to reviving classic rock influences with a Canadian twist.

Guitarist and producer Ross Hayes Citrullo describes the album as a blend of old and new southern rock, infused with soulful elements reminiscent of bands like The Black Crowes and The Allman Brothers, yet with a production style akin to Blackberry Smoke and Rival Sons.

Following the album’s release, The Commoners will hit the road again in 2024, appearing at festivals across the UK and EU, including Made of Stone, Steelhouse, and Moulin Blues Festivals. From the studio to the stage, The Commoners invite audiences to join them on their vibrant musical journey.
