The UK’s IBC representatives are packed and ready to go to Memphis!!
The International Blues Challenge organised by The Blues Foundation takes place between 28th January and 1st February 2020 in Memphis – more details at INTERNATIONAL BLUES CHALLENGE 2020
And representing the UK this year in the band category are The Achievers who won the 2019 UKBlues Challenge in September last year held at the Bluefunk Rhythm & Blues Club in Poynton.
And, for the first time, the UK will also be represented in the solo/duo category at the IBC with the winner of the 2018 UKBlues Challenge and the 2019 European Blues Challenge, Kyla Brox appearing in duo format with Danny Blomeley.
The Achievers will also go on to take part in the European Blues Challenge organised by the European Blues Union. This event takes place on 17th & 18th April 2020 in Zaandam, The Netherlands – more details at EBC 2020 including how to buy tickets.
