Following a year of building a devoted fanbase with a string of captivating singles, rising American roots rock outfit Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast are set to embark on their inaugural UK Headline Tour from September 25th to October 4th.
This UK tour marks a significant milestone for the band, following Krisko’s successful 2023 UK tour supporting California rockers Robert Jon & The Wreck. Krisko shared her excitement, stating, “The UK audiences have an unparalleled vibrancy and enthusiasm. They’ve completely won my heart, and I’m thrilled to return this fall for our album release tour!”
The band’s latest album, “Blueprints,” is a poignant exploration of personal emotions following Krisko’s mother’s unexpected passing in 2023. Krisko’s emotive delivery shines through on tracks like “Haunted By You” and “Have To Say Goodbye,” blending heartfelt ballads with groove-heavy rock anthems like “Piece of You.”
Hailing from Detroit, raised in New York City, and now based in Asheville, North Carolina, Caitlin Krisko draws inspiration from East Coast rock, Motown, and roots music. With her soaring vocals, powerful grooves, and evocative songwriting, Krisko has captivated audiences across America and Europe.
The band, comprised of Caitlin Krisko (lead vocals), Aaron Austin (guitar, background vocals), Michael W. Davis (drums), and William Seymour (bass, background vocals), has shared stages with notable artists like Mavis Staples, Marcus King, and The Avett Brothers.
Their recent single, “Haunted by You,” topped Spotify’s “Blues Ballads” playlist, showcasing Krisko’s soulful voice and magnetic presence. The band has collaborated with acclaimed producers such as Eric Sarafin (Ben Harper, Foreigner) and Jim Scott (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Grace Potter).
