A Night of Blues-Rock Excellence
Fans can expect an electrifying set from Troy Redfern, who will be joined on stage by bassist Keira Kenworthy and drummer Nicky Waters. Redfern will perform tracks from his latest album Invocation as well as fan favourites from his extensive back catalogue. Known for his explosive live performances and fiery slide guitar, Troy promises an unforgettable experience for blues-rock enthusiasts.
Reflecting on his music, Redfern shares, “As an artist, I feel it’s important to keep pushing and striving to refine your art while staying true to your vision. It’s crucial to know who you are as an artist. With songs like ‘The Strange,’ ‘Van Helsing,’ and ‘Getaway,’ I think I’ve perfected my own unique sound.”
A Relentless Journey in Blues-Rock
Troy Redfern’s touring schedule in recent years reflects his tireless work ethic and passion for live music. Following his successful 2023 UK tour supporting guitar virtuoso Philip Sayce, Redfern was invited to return for another round of dates with Sayce in late 2024. His current album Invocation follows on the heels of his critically acclaimed 2022 release The Wings of Salvation, which received widespread praise for its raw energy and masterful songwriting.
“Redfern balances big-league chops with mad songwriting skills to bring us an action-packed set of blues rock that will blow out your windows,” raved Blues Rock Review.
Special Guests: Red Giant with Dave Simpson
Adding even more excitement to the tour, Troy will be joined by Red Giant on select dates. The three-piece rock band, led by YouTube guitar innovator Dave Simpson, has garnered significant attention with their self-titled debut album. Red Giant’s music blends elements of rock, blues, and grunge to create a refreshing and dynamic sound. According to Velvet Thunder, the album “is a refreshing and dynamic experience from start to finish.”
Red Giant’s latest single, “Friends,” is an energetic homage to the wild nights of youth in the UK, driven by powerful riffs and harmonized guitar solos reminiscent of legendary duos like Thin Lizzy’s Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson, and Metallica’s James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett.
