The Damn Truth Ignite 2025 with Self-Titled Album and UK Tour

Montreal’s Psychedelic Rockers The Damn Truth Announce UK Headline Tour for November 2025

Canadian rock and roll trailblazers The Damn Truth are making their long-awaited return to the UK this November for an 11-date headline tour — and they’re bringing a brand-new, Bob Rock-produced album with them.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Wednesday 26 March via TheGigcartel.com. The tour kicks off at Norwich Waterfront Studio on Wednesday 12 November, includes a London stop at The Underworld on Friday 21 November, and closes at The Globe in Cardiff on Sunday 23 November.

“We’re very excited to return to the UK for another tour,” says lead singer and guitarist Lee-la Baum. “We always enjoy performing shows in England. The enthusiasm of UK audiences is incredible.”

Following the success of 2021’s Now or Nowhere, the band have reunited with legendary Grammy-winning producer Bob Rock (Motley Crüe, Bon Jovi, The Offspring) for their new self-titled album The Damn Truth, released 14 March 2025. The record features the riotous new single “All Night Long”, described by Rock News as “a full-throttle rock and roll banger… Imagine The Cult, Led Zeppelin, and The Damn Truth all colliding on a sweaty, beer-drenched stage.”

A Sound That Sticks

Consisting of Lee-la Baum (vocals, guitar), Tom Shemer (guitar), PY Letellier (bass) and Dave Traina (drums), The Damn Truth have carved out a loyal UK following through electrifying performances at festivals like Steelhouse, Winterstorm, and Planet Rockstock.

With two Top 40 singles on the Canadian Active Rock Charts (“Love Outta Luck” and “I Just Gotta Let You Know”), the new album builds on their momentum — with Bob Rock’s influence driving the band to new creative heights. Baum’s vocals shine across standout tracks like the mystic “The Willow”, the romantic “Better This Way”, and the socially-charged “The Dying Dove”.

But it’s “All Night Long” that captures the essence of The Damn Truth: raw, relentless, and rebellious. As the band puts it, this is organic loud rock, best experienced in a sweat-soaked venue with the amps cranked to 11.

More Than Hype

Already a staple on Planet Rock, the band has also earned spins on BBC Radio 2’s Rock Show and racked up accolades from Classic Rock Magazine, Rolling Stone, Guitarist, Blues Matters, Powerplay, and more. This month, Classic Rock ran a special feature, “Six Questions with The Damn Truth”, reinforcing the band’s buzz ahead of their UK return.

“The Damn Truth are a fresh revivalism of the psyche music scene from the mid 60s,” says Rock Bands of LA editor Jeff Laufer. “They’re lightning in a bottle.”

Rock Royalty Connections

Over the years, the band has toured with legends like ZZ Top, Glenn Hughes, Styx, and Rival Sons — and yes, they’ve partied in pyjamas with Billy Gibbons. They were also featured guests on Joe Bonamassa’s Keeping the Blues Alive Stream-A-Thon, and just wrapped a stint on the 2025 Legends of Rock Cruise alongside Alice Cooper, Jason Bonham, and Blackberry Smoke.

With a new album, new tour, and renewed fire, The Damn Truth are locked in and ready to take UK audiences on a wild ride.
