Storm Warning Talk about the new album Strategy

Just released is the long  awaited 3rd album ‘Strategy’ from Buckinghamshire based band Storm Warning, this has been a long time coming after the band’s difficult time following the departure of their popular vocalist / harmonica player Stuart ‘Son’ Maxwell. The band features Derek White on bass and Ian Salisbury on keyboards, both stalwarts of the Larry Miller band. It’s vocalist Steve Norchi’s first album with the band. On guitar is Bob Moore who seems to have dropped the epithet ‘Mad Dog’, possibly explains the mellow approach on this album; Russ Chaney is on drums. The band has spent a long time on the lyrics for the eight original songs (there’s one instrumental track) on this album which was launched over a couple of shows at the Bull’s Head Barnes and the New Crawdaddy Club. Martin Atkinson produced the album at M.A.R.S. Studios in Buckinghamshire. The album is available from www.stormwarning.co.uk
