Critically acclaimed American guitarist and vocalist Samantha Fish has confirmed the special guests for her highly anticipated UK dates this spring. Joining her at the Arts Club Liverpool (May 30), The Brook in Southampton (May 31), and O2 Academy Oxford (June 1) will be none other than British slide guitar maverick Troy Redfern. Meanwhile, blues-rockers The Zac Schulze Gang will support the show at Cheese & Grain, Frome (May 28).
This UK leg is part of a wider European tour that sees Fish building on the acclaim surrounding her most recent studio album, Paper Doll. Known for her fearless blend of rock, blues, soul, and Americana, Samantha continues to push boundaries and break expectations.
A Grammy nominee for Contemporary Blues Album of the Year (for her collaboration with Jesse Dayton on Death Wish Blues), Fish was also named one of the “Top 100 Greatest Blues Guitarists of All Time” by Total Guitar. Her credentials are further burnished by a standout appearance on Slash’s S.E.R.P.E.N.T. US tour earlier this year.
Fans can expect to hear highlights from Paper Doll alongside favourites from her celebrated back catalogue, including Wild Heart, Chills & Fever, Belle of the West, Death Wish Blues, Faster, and Kill or Be Kind. Whether it’s full-tilt rock or stripped-back soul, Fish’s sets are always a tour de force of guitar work and raw emotion.
