Parker Barrow announce new EP Hold The Mash

Nashville-based blues-soaked Southern rockers Parker Barrow return with their brand-new five-track EP Hold The Mash, released Wednesday November 5th on all streaming platforms.

The new record marks the band’s first release since their acclaimed 2023 debut album Jukebox Gypsies and features the 2025 singles Make It and Novocaine, along with three brand-new tracks – Glass Eyes Crying, Olivia Lane, and The Healer.

A new chapter of creativity

“The recording process for the EP was a completely new experience, unlike anything we’ve done before,” explains lead singer Megan Kane. “With guitarist Alex Bender joining the creative songwriting journey, everything felt refreshed and reimagined. Balancing touring while recording came with its own challenges, but seeing the songs grow from voice memos to finished recordings was incredibly rewarding.”

Drummer Dylan Turner adds, “The Healer shows a brand-new side of Parker Barrow. Our music has always been groove-based and guitar-driven, but this track called for something different. It features Eric Safka’s psychedelic-tinged organ solo which really sets it apart.”

Guitarist Alex Bender also highlights the emotional scope of the record. “Olivia Lane is a personal favourite. It builds slowly with texture and dynamics until it explodes in the final chorus. Creating diverse styles across the EP shows the musical depth of who we are as a band.”

Touring and beyond

Hold The Mash lands just as the band embarks on a UK tour supporting The Damn Truth, kicking off November 12th. Early next year, they’ll join Gene Simmons, Blue Öyster Cult, REO Speedwagon, and others aboard the sold-out Rock Legends XIII Cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Turks and Caicos.

Fronted by husband-and-wife duo Megan Kane (vocals) and Dylan Turner (drums), Parker Barrow takes its name from Depression-era outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. Their sound fuses classic Southern rock with blues and soul influences, drawing inspiration from Blackberry Smoke, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and The Black Crowes, while carving out a distinct identity that’s entirely their own.

Their debut album Jukebox Gypsies received glowing reviews and saw the single Back To Birmingham surpass one million YouTube views. With a reputation for high-energy, crowd-driven performances, Parker Barrow are proving that rock and roll is alive, loud, and in very good hands.
