Critically acclaimed guitarist and vocalist Orianthi will release her brand-new single Dark Days Are Gone on Thursday 16 October, accompanied by an official music video on YouTube. The track marks the fifth single from her widely praised album Some Kind of Feeling, released through Woodward Avenue Records and available now on CD, vinyl, and digital platforms.
The new single is one of seven tracks produced by Kevin “The Caveman” Shirley (Black Country Communion, Beth Hart, Joe Bonamassa), while Orianthi herself took the producer’s chair for three others, including First Time Blues, Ghost, and Bad For Each Other.
Often described as one of the most dynamic guitarists of her generation, Orianthi’s career includes work alongside Alice Cooper, Dave Stewart, and Richie Sambora, as well as the unforgettable moment when Michael Jackson personally selected her to join his band for his planned London residency in 2009.
Her rise as a solo artist came soon after, driven by her Billboard Top 20 hit According to You and gold-selling debut album Believe. Since then, Orianthi has continued to evolve with a run of albums and collaborations that showcase her range, passion, and undeniable technical firepower.
The Some Kind of Feeling era sees Orianthi at her most fearless.
