Mark Morton, renowned guitarist and songwriter for the five-time Grammy-nominated, gold-selling metal band Lamb of God, has unveiled the official music video for “Dust”, one of the standout tracks from his second solo album Without The Pain. The video, which offers fans a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the studio, highlights the powerful collaboration between Morton, country star Cody Jinks, and rising guitar sensation Grace Bowers.

Morton, whose ferocious guitar work helped shape Lamb of God’s signature heavy metal sound, explores a more introspective and roots-driven approach in his solo career. “One of my favourite things about making this album has been all the opportunities for creative collaboration,” Morton shares. “‘Dust’ was such a great example of that and an amazingly cool experience to be a part of. I wrote it in an afternoon together with Jaren Johnston and Cody Jinks, who would later perform the vocal. And trading off guitar solos with Grace Bowers was a total blast… that’s me on the slide parts and Grace handling the shredding.”
Released earlier this year, Without The Pain marks a major chapter in Morton’s artistic journey, highlighting his ability to craft authentic, genre-crossing music that resonates across audiences.
