Anglo-French guitarist, singer and songwriter Laura Cox will release her fourth studio album Trouble Coming on October 31, 2025, via earMUSIC. The record is already available to pre-order, with a wide range of physical editions including CD Digipak, 180g gatefold black vinyl, and two limited-edition marbled variants in white and black, and transparent red and black.

From viral guitarist to rising European rock star
Cox’s story began in 2008 when she started uploading fiery rock and blues covers to YouTube. Her sharp tone, technical skill and stage-ready charisma quickly captured the attention of millions. Today, her channel boasts more than 903,000 subscribers and over 105 million views, making her one of the most visible figures in the French rock scene.
She cemented her reputation with Hard Blues Shot in 2017 and Burning Bright in 2019, albums that introduced her blend of classic rock grit and blues flair. By 2023, her third record Head Above Water pushed her sound further, earning praise for its fusion of vintage and modern rock influences.
A new chapter with Trouble Coming
With Trouble Coming, Cox takes a bold step forward. The album finds her stripping things back for a more introspective and soulful approach while still retaining the edge and energy that first won her acclaim. It is a record that highlights her evolution not only as a guitarist but as a songwriter with a growing depth of expression.
Recorded at ICP Studios in Brussels, the album features 11 brand new tracks. Mixing and engineering duties were handled by Jean-Marc Pelatan at Studio des Muses, with mastering by multi-GRAMMY award winner Ted Jensen, known for his work on classics such as Hotel California by the Eagles, American Idiot by Green Day and Synchronicity by The Police.
