In a bold move, “Shepherd” marks Bywater Call’s first fully self-produced and self-recorded album. It’s a testament to their growing artistic confidence and vision, released with the support of Continental Record Services in Europe.
To celebrate the album’s release, the band is unveiling an official video for “Colours,” a powerful ballad that showcases their emotional depth. Filmed in a dreamy, slow-motion style reminiscent of Coldplay’s “Yellow,” the video perfectly captures the raw emotion of unrequited love and the struggle to let go.
Bywater Call’s live performances are legendary for their dynamism and the exciting interplay between band members, centred around powerful vocals that have drawn comparisons to some of the best female voices in blues and roots today. Their talent hasn’t gone unnoticed – the band was nominated for International Blues Artist of the Year at the UK Blues Awards, alongside winners Larkin Poe.
