Bex will also take part in a special BBC Radio 2 Live Session with Cerys Matthews on Monday, 16th September 2024, where she’ll perform tracks from Fortuna and discuss her incredible journey through music.

Fortuna is a ten-track album showcasing Marshall’s ability as a vivid storyteller and soulful musician. Recorded at Snakepit Studios in North London with a week-long session alongside a star-studded group of musicians, the album seamlessly blends rock blues with gospel and roots influences. Featuring notable names like Richie Stevens (Tina Turner, Simply Red), Toby Baker (BB King, Eric Clapton), and B.J. Cole (Elton John, Sting), Fortuna is packed with catchy songs and showcases Marshall’s raspy vocals and brilliant guitar work.

Critics have praised Fortuna, with Classic Rock Magazine describing Marshall’s vocals and guitar playing as commanding and gritty, while Blues In Britain hailed the album as a long-overdue display of her full musical firepower. Fortuna continues to draw attention for its emotionally resonant lyrics and stellar musicianship, making it a must-listen for blues and rock fans alike.
