You know Huey Morgan as The Fun Lovin’ Criminal; the rogue New Yorker who always said it as it was. Millions of records sold and millions of stories to be told, Huey was always the man that entertained the audience from the perspective of a fan.

You may know Huey Morgan as the BBC DJ that for the last 7 years has entertained us with music from his vast collection. Always quick with a joke but never condescending, his millions of listeners tune in weekly from all over the world to hear his show that jumps from style to style just like the Fun Lovin’ Criminals.

Tonight Huey will play his music and tell you what is was like through the good times and the bad. He will take questions from the audience and answer them from the heart.

Huey has never done anything like this before and if we know him, it’s going to be something very special, very personal and very real.

See it here first at Huey’s favourite pub in London!

In association with our good friends at Fender Guitars

Huey knows his Blues and so much more, as he shows with what he spins on his BBC Radio shows. This is going to be one interesting night.

Did you know that Huey has played (sometimes taking a very laid-back, backseat role, we’re told) with The Tangiers Blues Band of New York? Some of that band are members of Huey and the New Yorkers. If you’re in the States and get a chance to catch them, do. We heard some of their material as part of the set when Huey and the New Yorkers played the Royal Albert Hall’s Bluesfest in 2013 and it was cool music. His reflective spoken thought on the night, as he looked around him, “Royal Albert hall? Who’da thunk it?” was a great moment. Chances are, he’ll talk about that too.
