The title track from Joe Bonamassa’s recent album has now been issued as a single (see Issue 80 for full album review) and here we get a shorter Single Edit plus the full album version. Probably, like me, most readers will already own the full album which is a classic of modern blues. This track starts out with acoustic guitar but soon builds into a soaring blues ballad featuring soulful vocals from Joe B plus his usual biting and melodic fretwork. The backing band are excellent with Reese Wynans adding nice subtle touches on organ. I hope this single does well and brings blues to a wider audience.
