Fans can expect a powerhouse live show as Joanne and her world-class band deliver highlights from Black & Gold alongside fan favourites from Heavy Soul, Nobody’s Fool, and The Blues Album. Her soulful vocals, expressive songwriting, and searing guitar work combine to create an unmissable experience for blues and rock fans alike.
Black & Gold has been widely praised across the music press. Blues in Britain called it “absolute top form,” while Bluestown Music described it as “a true musical treat, wonderfully performed, immaculately produced.” Classic Rock awarded the album 9/10, declaring, “Blues chanteuse strikes gold.”
One of the record’s highlights is Look What I’ve Become, a haunting and cinematic track exploring addiction, isolation, and the crossroads between despair and redemption. “It’s about the moment where you either change everything or disappear,” Joanne explains. “The lyrics came from a very honest place, and I wanted the music to match that intensity.”
Joanne’s partnership with Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records continues to elevate her music to a global audience, reinforcing her position as one of the most vital figures in contemporary blues. Discovered by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics at just sixteen, and championed by Stevie Wonder and Annie Lennox, Joanne has become one of Britain’s most celebrated guitarists.
Her chart-topping albums Reckless Heart, The Blues Album, Heavy Soul, and now Black & Gold showcase a musician constantly evolving, while staying true to her blues roots.
