Free online blues event announced by Blues Matters

Blues Matters is delighted to be hosting a special evening of blues music this February.

On Friday 26th February 2021 you can tune into the Blues Matters Facebook page for a free 2 hour session of music from the bands and artists that should have been playing live for you at the Skegness festival at Butlins back in January.

Blues Matters founder, Alan Pearce, said “After the cancellation of The Great British Rock and Blues Festival this year due to Covid, we felt like we had to do something to fill the gap. The event is a true highlight for us and we were gutted when it came to light that it couldn’t go ahead.”

Creating a special online event seemed like the natural thing to do and the performers came on board with no hesitation.

The line up includes the following amazing talent:

  • Dom Martin’s Savages
  • Dani Wilde
  • Redfish
  • When Rivers Meet
  • Chris Bevington
  • John Angus Band

PLUS we’ve invited the artists to come into the chat during the show so you have a chance to ask questions and enjoy the show with the performers.

Get over to the Facebook event page now and mark yourself as “attending” to get an automatic reminder and notification when the stream goes live on the 26th:

Please think about supporting the artists by visiting their websites, buying their albums and merchandise or simply by giving them a follow on social media.
