Celebrating 20 Years of Blues Rock

To mark two decades of her illustrious career, Erja Lyytinen will release a live CD+DVD album, 20 Years of Blues Rock!, on Friday, December 20th. The album captures an unforgettable anniversary show recorded at the iconic Tavastia Club in Helsinki during autumn 2023. Featuring performances with many of her longtime collaborators and bandmates, the release is a celebration of Lyytinen’s journey as one of blues rock’s most innovative artists.

“This live album is a time capsule of my career,” Lyytinen explains. “It features songs from every era of my music, performed with the people who helped shape my sound. Recording it at Tavastia, a venue I’ve always loved, made it even more meaningful.”

Highlights include her heartfelt performance of “24 Angels”, which is available now on YouTube.

A Triumphant Return to the UK

After a successful 2024 UK tour, Erja Lyytinen will return to British stages in April 2025. The tour, running from April 2nd–12th, will see Lyytinen performing songs from her new live album as well as tracks from her forthcoming studio release, scheduled for March 28, 2025.

“Touring the UK last spring was such a joy,” Lyytinen reflects. “It’s always wonderful to connect with fans at intimate venues and festivals, and I’m excited to share both new songs and fan favourites on this tour.”
