After yet another amazing festival in January 2020, it is with deep sadness we announce the postponement of the Great British Rock & Blues Festival 2021, to January 2022 at Butlins Resort, Skegness.

We are of course bitterly disappointed but we are all living in the current circumstances, and I am sure you all agree, as much as we don’t ever want to miss a festival, this is the only sensible decision to make.

I will email all the acts I had lined up for the event.

I’m bitterly disappointed BUT this is what I expected and should happen.

Thank you for choosing Blues Matters and for your support and Good Blues to you.

Your Booking Reference:

Dear ,
It’s with a heavy heart that we’re sad to say we won’t be open for your Great British Rock & Blues Festival

We wrote to you recently with an update on your break regarding increased measures for your safety. After looking at alternative ways to run your break under the current guidelines, we’re sorry to say that it is no longer possible to continue with the event. Therefore, we’ve made the decision to cancel your break in 2021.

Our Live Music Weekends are a place where you love to come to listen to great music and socialise and we know there’s nothing more disappointing than cancelled plans. That’s why we want to make it as easy as possible for you and your friends to have something to look forward to.

Just one easy click and you can move your break over to the same break in 2022, you’ll just need your booking ref (see the top of this email) and your phone number.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR YOUR BOOKING?

We know there’s nothing more disappointing than cancelled plans, so we’ve created the following options to help you manage your booking with us. All bookings are covered by our Coronavirus Book With Confidence Guarantee to give you peace of mind.

OPTION 1 – SAME BREAK IN 2022, IN ONE EASY CLICK

The Great British Rock & Blues Festival is running again in 2022, and you can click the below link (in your email) to move your booking to that same weekend in the same grade of accommodation at the same price. You’ll just need your booking ref (see the top of this email) and your phone number and we’ll sort that out for you, so you don’t have to do anything. You’ll get a confirmation email once it’s been moved.

OPTION 2 – MOVE TO A DIFFERENT BREAK

If you’d prefer, you can move your Live Music Weekend booking to another break. If the break you move to is more expensive, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it’s cheaper, we will of course refund you the difference.

You don’t have to decide now if you’re not ready – your holiday credit is automatically held by us, and you can use it towards any new break up until the 31st Dec 2021. When you’re ready, please click the below button (in your email) let us know what you would like to do with your booking.

OPTION 3 – GET A REFUND

For a refund on your break, please click the button in your email and fill in the form.
