Joe Bonamassa Releases Rambunctious Rendition of Guitar Slim’s, “Well, I Done Got Over It,” Featured On His New Studio Album Blues Deluxe Vol. 2 Out October 6th

Superstar Joe Bonamassa is back with a new single, “Well, I Done Got Over It,” from his upcoming album ‘Blues Deluxe Vol. 2.’ The album pays homage to the blues genre and showcases Bonamassa’s return to his roots. Set for release on October 6th via J&R Adventures, the album features two original songs and eight covers of influential blues tracks by artists like Bobby “Blue” Bland and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac to Albert King.

Bonamassa’s connection to “Well, I Done Got Over It” runs deep as he recalls his father introducing him to Guitar Slim’s music when he was a kid. The song holds a special place in his heart, and the new rendition combines influences from Blues Breakers, Guitar Slim, and Bonamassa’s own style.

To enhance the listening experience, fans can also pre-order the exclusive Platinum Edition Box Set, which includes CD and Vinyl versions of both Vol. 2 and the remastered edition of ‘Blues Deluxe,’ along with unique collectible items.

Bonamassa’s growth as an artist shines through on this album, with improved vocals and musical maturity. The release of “Well, I Done Got Over It” follows the success of the previous single, “Twenty-Four Hour Blues,” a powerful interpretation of Bobby “Blue” Bland’s classic track from Dreamer. The track impresses with exceptional guitar solos and a captivating performance by Bonamassa.
