Mojo Thunder Release Uplifting New Single “Coming Back to You”

Mojo Thunder, the Southern rock band making waves in the modern blues scene, have just dropped their latest single, “Coming Back to You”. This marks the fourth single from their much-anticipated new album, The Infinite Hope. The record is available now on vinyl, CD, and digital formats.

“Coming Back to You” stands out as a high-energy, feel-good rocker that was penned by the band’s guitarist, Bryson Willoughby. The track’s lyrics are an earnest expression of love and devotion, capturing the powerful emotions of dedication and commitment in a relationship. “It’s about being honest and sincere—about love that transcends distance and obstacles,” says Willoughby. “There’s too much toxic machismo in rock, and I wanted to create something real, respectful, and above all, truthful.”

The track showcases lead vocalist Sean Sullivan’s powerful voice, with his performance brimming with both soul and intensity. Willoughby’s guitar work shines as well, blending raw aggression with melodic finesse, creating an exciting sonic journey. The band’s rhythm section, featuring bassist Andrew Brockman and drummer Zac Shoopman, delivers the driving energy that pushes the song forward, making it a standout in Mojo Thunder’s already impressive catalogue.

The new album, The Infinite Hope, dives deep into a range of themes, from activism and social commentary, as seen in the song “Caroline”, to the exploration of love in tracks like “Grace” and “Coming Back to You”. Other highlights include “Memphis”, which grapples with themes of tragedy, and “Holy Ghost”, which addresses the darker sides of the American South. The album’s broad spectrum of topics and heartfelt lyrics reflect the band’s commitment to authenticity and self-empowerment.

The record was produced by Duane Lundy, known for his work with Ringo Starr and Sturgill Simpson, at the Lexington Recording Co. Lundy praised the band for their cohesive approach and the raw emotion they brought into the recording process. “We wanted to capture the energy of their live performances while giving priority to the emotional depth of the songs. What struck me most was how thoughtful and meaningful the lyrics are, which is something you don’t always find in contemporary rock.”

Fans can stream “Coming Back to You” on YouTube, or dive into The Infinite Hope across all major platforms. Mojo Thunder continues to push boundaries in rock and blues, and with this latest release, they further cement their place as one of the genre’s most exciting rising acts.
