Circuit veteran Bluesman Mike Francis relates his very own Story of the Blues on his 40th Anniversary tour, playing traditional and contemporary material from his celebratory new album. In 2013 Mike was a nominated finalist in the Solo Acoustic category of the European Blues Awards and Rolling Stones biographer Martin Elliott is quoted as saying about Mike, “If Woody Guthrie and Robert Johnson were alive today they’d probably sound like this guy.”

This is Mike’s second time playing the Upton Festival and last UK gig before the tour goes off to Europe. Here is a short promo video for latest EP ‘Song for Imelda May’ which will be on sale at all live shows https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DQ9c8GGvmk
